Oldboy’s Pom Klementieff

(SPOILER ALERT: It's best if you have seen Oldboy, either the original, the remake, or both, before listening to these podcasts)
In part one of our THREE PART podcast series dedicated to Spike Lee’s Oldboy I sit down with the bright young starlet making her Hollywood debut in the film, Ms. Pom Klementieff. The beautiful French/Korean actress plays a “bad guy” in the film, serving as the evil Sharlto Copley’s security guard and love interest, a part that was played by a man in the Korean film that Oldboy is based on. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am glad screenwriter Mark Protosevich decided to go with Pom instead of...Tom. Pom controls the screen with her silent intensity in each of her scenes while also providing a great deal of mystique and intrigue, both to Josh Brolin’s character Joe who is fresh out of captivity as well as the audience as a whole. Get to know the woman under the bright yellow umbrella as Pom talks to me about her multi-cultural heritage, growing up in France, learning English through Tina Fey’s 30 Rock, watching the original Oldboy as a girl, how she got the part, her favorite actors and actresses and much more! Nicknamed “The Pom-inator” for good reason, Pom kicks some serious ass in Spike Lee’s Oldboy and although she is definitely the type of girl any guy would want to get close to, she also shows you what will happen to you if you get TOO close! Follow Pom on twitter @PomKlementieff and look out for her on the silver screen as Oldboy is sure to only be the beginning of movie-goers eating out of the POM of her hand for years to come!
